Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2 September 2026
1. Who we are
Slimbr and Slimbr Health are trading names of Slimform Limited, a company registered in Ireland with its registered office at 1 Fitzwilliam Street Upper, Dublin 2, D02 VY62, Ireland ("Slimbr", "we", "us", "our"). You can contact us at info@slimbr.com or on 01 575 1691.
These terms govern your use of the Slimbr website (slimbr.com and its subdomains), the Slimbr mobile app, and the doctor-led weight-management service we provide (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal and health information.
2. What the Service is
Slimbr provides online medical consultations with registered doctors, ongoing clinical review, dietitian and care-team support, and, where a doctor considers it clinically appropriate, prescriptions for weight-management medication. Medication is dispensed and supplied by an independent, registered partner pharmacy, not by Slimbr.
All clinical decisions, including whether to prescribe, which medication and at what dose, are made by the treating doctor in their independent professional judgement. Completing our questionnaire or booking a consultation does not guarantee that treatment will be offered.
The Service is not an emergency service. If you are unwell and need urgent help, contact your GP, call 112 or 999, or go to your nearest emergency department.
3. Who can use the Service
- You must be aged 18 or over.
- You must be resident in, and physically located in, the Republic of Ireland or the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland) when you use the Service. Our payment, pharmacy and delivery arrangements are limited to these territories.
- Treatment is only available where a doctor decides it is suitable for you. Prescribing criteria typically include a body-mass index (BMI) above the thresholds in the medication's licence, your medical history and any other medication you take.
- You must give complete and truthful information about your health, weight, medical history and medications, and tell us promptly if anything changes. Treatment based on inaccurate information may be unsafe, and we may suspend or end the Service if information you gave us was false or misleading.
4. Fees, payment and cancellation (terms of sale)
4.1 What you pay
- Initial assessment. Your first assessment call with our team is free.
- Medical service fee. Our medical service fee covers your doctor consultations, prescriptions, ongoing clinical monitoring, dietitian support and access to the app. The current fee is shown on our price list. At the date of these terms it is €49 for your first month and €99 per month thereafter, billed monthly. A reduced monthly rate is available if you choose to commit to a six-month plan; the terms of that plan are shown to you before you choose it.
- Medication. Medication is charged separately at the partner pharmacy's price for the dose prescribed. Prices vary by medication and dose and can change; the current indicative prices are on our price list and are confirmed to you before each order.
- Delivery. Medication is shipped to you by tracked, temperature-controlled courier and delivery is charged separately. The delivery charge is shown before you confirm your order.
All prices are in euro and include VAT where applicable. We may change our fees; changes will not apply to a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before any change takes effect.
4.2 If treatment is not suitable
The medical service fee is only charged once a doctor has confirmed that treatment is suitable for you and your treatment starts. If the doctor decides that treatment is not suitable, you will not be charged the service fee, and any service fee already taken will be refunded in full.
4.3 Monthly billing and cancellation
The monthly plan renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time by emailing info@slimbr.com or through the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the monthly period you have already paid for; we do not charge for further months after that. Service fees for a period that has already started are not refundable, except as set out in section 4.2 or where required by law.
If you stop treatment, please speak to your doctor first. Some medications should be stopped or stepped down under medical guidance.
4.4 Medication orders and returns
Prescription medicines are dispensed specifically for you, are supplied under a cold-chain, and cannot be returned or resold once dispensed. For that reason, medication orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once the pharmacy has dispensed them, unless the product is faulty, damaged or not as prescribed. This does not affect your statutory rights. If anything is wrong with a delivery, contact us within 48 hours of receipt and we will put it right with the pharmacy.
4.5 Your right to cancel a distance contract
Because you buy the Service online, consumer law gives you 14 days from the day you enter the contract to cancel without giving a reason. By asking us to start your medical service straight away, you agree that we may begin providing it within that period; if you then cancel, you pay only for the part of the service provided up to cancellation. The 14-day right does not apply to prescription medicines once dispensed, as explained in section 4.4.
4.6 Payment
Payments are processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe). By providing a payment method you authorise us to charge the service fee and any medication and delivery charges you have confirmed. If a payment fails, we may pause your Service until it is settled.
5. Your responsibilities
- Use medication only as prescribed and directed by your doctor and the pharmacy.
- Do not share, sell or give your medication to anyone else.
- Attend or complete your check-ins so your doctor can monitor your treatment safely.
- Keep your account details secure and tell us if you think someone else has used them.
- Tell us straight away about side effects, new medications or a change in your health.
6. Results are not guaranteed
Weight-management medication does not work the same way for everyone. Any figures we quote about weight loss are averages from clinical trials or descriptions of individual experiences, not a promise of what you will achieve. Your results depend on your health, the dose your doctor prescribes and your lifestyle.
7. Website and app content
Articles on our website and information in the app are general health information. They are not a substitute for a consultation with your doctor and do not create a doctor–patient relationship on their own. The content, design and branding of the website and app belong to Slimform Limited or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
We aim to keep the website and app available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may change or withdraw features at any time.
8. Suspending or ending the Service
We may pause or end your access to the Service if a doctor decides treatment is no longer safe or appropriate, if you breach these terms, if payments are not made, or if we reasonably believe the Service is being misused. Where we end the Service for a reason other than your breach, we will refund any service fee you have paid for a period you have not yet received.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, and nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when you entered the contract, for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, or for losses caused by information you gave us that was inaccurate or incomplete. Our doctors and the partner pharmacy are independently regulated professionals who are responsible for their own clinical and dispensing decisions.
10. Complaints
If something has gone wrong, please tell us at info@slimbr.com and we will investigate and respond. Concerns about a doctor's conduct may also be raised with the Irish Medical Council (or, for UK-registered doctors, the General Medical Council). Concerns about a pharmacy may be raised with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland or the General Pharmaceutical Council. If you are a consumer in Ireland and we cannot resolve a dispute, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform or contact the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you live in the UK you may also rely on the mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in and bring proceedings in your local courts.
